What was your inspiration?
These are a project I decided to make for my aunts and uncles after the family reunion in June. I realize they will only hold meaning for me as the time I have taken to make them but I am hopeful they will like them and when they are gone perhaps their children will remember them with these. I am still working on them and it takes time for me as I am doing many other things at the same time but I will post again when these are finished. I was working on the one for my uncles and realized I had put the attachment unside down on the back which is par for my course. It is monday right? :) And to enjoy life is my inspiration, no matter what it throws at you. :)
What are you most proud of?
That I have not given up on being an artist and having fun making things. I am proud of my children. I am proud of my husband. And most of all I am proud to of been allowed to be a part of this world. Have a great Monday! :)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Dont think too hard about it or it will give you a headache. Just play and have fun and you will make mistakes and hopefully you will learn from them and attempt to make something which you can say, I did this. :) have above all things enjoy what you do and have fun with it. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff and just because the clay decided it was going to be sticky and not dry is not a reason to give up, slap it with some mod podge and make it dry! lol :)
