Category: Knitting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Classic, Romantic, Casual

Materials

Hand-dyed thread and beads; tatting NOT KNITTING

What was your inspiration?

Some lovely flower beads (the original bracelet was a gift). Then I got the lovely Dark Hyacinth thread and just had to use it.

What are you most proud of?

All the possible variations.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Do you know split ring? You need to know how to do rings, chains, joins & split rings. Use small quilting safety pins (no coil) to hold the picot open for the bead join.

Very cool! All the color combos look fun.

The bead and color combinations mean endless variation. Plus, I can use those odd beads (like the black and white one) that don't work well in a ring.
