What was your inspiration?

One of my daughters was babysitting and I saw the airplane fabric. I called her and asked if the little boy she was taking care of like planes. He did. So I bought the fabric. I had a couple of toddler patterns and changed it up some by adding the knit cuffs at the wrists. I also used knit around the neck for binding rather than store bought binding. Zipper down the front and elastic at the ankles, this was ready for a two yr old to grow into these pj's.

What are you most proud of?

I am getting better at zippers. I do like the blue cuffs.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I like to mix and match textures when sewing for kids. They can be picky about clothes being itchy or too tight or not soft.
