What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This is a tutorial for making this classic looking block. I was inspired by a quilt I saw online to write up a tutorial for a very old block done in a fun new way. This block is nothing more than 4 Quarter Square Triangles put together with a little care and precision. It is an easy block that all your friends and family will ooh and aaah over and make you look like a star!

Hi what size is this block? when I first saw the picture Ithought it was a whole quilt till I looked at your write-up. I have been collecting strpes to make something like this.

This block ends up being about 9.25 inches, but I will trim it back to 9 probably, then it will be 8.5 finished. I will be making a whole quilt with these, which should look pretty cool. :)

Thanks Pat, I think this block is so fun!! It will take me a while to finish this quilt, but I am just as excited as you to see it all come together.
