It will! And thank you. My suggestion is that if you use lightweight cotton fabric such as mine, use a heavier and stiffer fusible craft or tote fleece--the bag will hold its shape better. And on the next bag I made, I actually sewed the zipper in with my regular machine and then surged the fabric edges afterwards. Same for the seam that boxes out the bag and crosses the zipper--it worked better and looked great! Good luck!
