What materials did you use? 100% cotton fat quarters. Polyester zipper in dusty rose pink.

What are you most proud of? Aside from some irritating tension problems my serger decided to have for almost an entire evening, once the nasty machine was working properly, the bag was easy and finished perfectly in no time!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just watch and listen to Amy ... She'll get you where you want to go.

Could this be any more perfect?! Those corners and lines are awesome! Did you iron it, or just use some magic powers to make it line up so nicely? ;)

10/23/2012 Flag

Thank you Amy! I ironed it when it was finished (to get the annoying, but still not gone, wrinkles out of the fabric created by storing my fleece in a very un-fleece-friendly way for the last few months - the wrinkles are here to stay!)

Well wrinkles or not (I can't see any), it looks great!

lol! i'll just call it "floral grunge" and start a new design movement!!
