What was your inspiration?
Bowman is my maiden name and Bowman's Beach is on Sanibel Island in Florida. This is a place that my mother loved.
What are you most proud of?
My first Ohio Star. I felt my fabric choices worked well for the feel I wanted.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have fun. I am sure it can be done with all kinds of fabrics. I have thought about doing it with reproduction fabrics for a history buff in our family.
