What was your inspiration?
I am very excited about vintage doily patterns. I found this one at a booth at Sew Expo this year, the book is from 1947. I am always looking for new things to feature on my Etsy site (shellysbags).
What are you most proud of?
Working with size 20 thread was a bit intimidating for me, I felt like I needed to wear a microscope on my eyes to do it. But I got used to it and was able to render all the small details very nicely.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The technique for doing the "floating" snowdrops seems weird at first, but it really does work.
