What was your inspiration?

I've always wished I could learn to make bread, but did not what to use a bread maker. Seeing this course is was inspired me to learn!

What are you most proud of?

I'm proud that I was able to actually produce some very tasty bread!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't be discouraged if the dough doesn't look so great when your first mix it. I initially thought I had messed up during the "shaggy" stage, but the stretching and folding and waiting for it to rise after REALLY made a huge difference. I wanted to play with the dough like play-dough but exercise a little restraint and don't handle the dough too much :) ...Oh and make some soup while you wait! lol it will make the time pass quicker and also make for a rewarding treat after! :)

Love the bloom. I haven't found the right tool yet.

Thank you! I just used a razor blade... I didn't have anything fancy to bend it with, but it seemed to have worked out okay :) I think I'll try the scissors next time! lol

Okay- your picture with the soup made me want to jump through the computer monitor- if only to get a whiff- it looks BEAUTIFUL! (and scrumptious!) The bread looks amazing and so do the photos- wonderful presentation :-)

Thank you!! Have you made any bread?? I'm so happy mine turned out okay, I think I still need practice but it was still yummy! And you would be totally welcomed to a bowl of soup if you had jumped through the screen lol
