What are you most proud of? The sleeve heads, since I didn't know what that was before i started my class. I'm also proud the men and women turned to look at this outfit, I'm sure no one would have guessed that I made it!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time with each step of the process. Remember that your jacket will hang a bit differently when closed in the front and when fully constructed. Also, if you're loosing or gaining weight, remember to double-check your pattern or muslin if it's been a while. If you're re-drafting princess lines, make sure they pass about 1/2 inch from the bust point. I cut my swooping in before I heard Kenneth's advice about the placement! Oh, and if possible, use a tried-and-true pattern like I didn't do.

Hi there, thanks so much for the compliment. Sorry for my slow reply. It's Burda Jacket #107. http://www.burdastyle.com/pattern_store/patterns/boucle-jacket-022013 I'm not sure that I recommend the pattern. It requires a ton of fusible and I had to do constant alterations, but there it is. I hope this helps.
