Materials

Scraps of fabric and an old sheet

What was your inspiration?

We are taking a family vacation and I needed a small but sturdy carry on for my computer and my kids books and stuff.

What are you most proud of?

i think it turned out really well. It was made of all scraps I had laying around, and an old sheet

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Sheets are the best kind of fabric to practice with!!! I buy king size sheets at the thrift store, wash them and then use then for muslin or anything that i am not sure how it will turn out. If it turns out good, it looks good, but if it turns out not so good, you didnt spend a lot of money on expensive fabric.

I love it! Very nice use of extra blocks. I think they might look better as a bag than all together in a quilt! :D
