What was your inspiration?

I've wanted to try knitting striped socks for ages.

What are you most proud of?

These were so easy and very quick.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This is a very easy pattern to do. The self-stripping yarn makes it so easy and even work well for the "afterthought" heel.

Thanks Donna for your suggestions to make this pattern with self-striping yarn. They turned out great. I couldn't picture ahead what the striping would do on the afterthought heel and if it would look right, but it works great. These were so easy to make. Guess I'll have to try the patterned socks next. I've signed up for the top-down socks class too. Donna, you make it so easy!
