What was your inspiration?

I've seen wonderful socks from Eastern Europe in museums and these are a simplified version of those socks, perfect for learning the techniques.

What are you most proud of?

I love the way the diamond pattern flows up from the foot onto the leg.

I started the proyect during my visiting my son in Alaska. I finished one sock and now I would like to go ahead and finish the other. I would like to save the patterns for future reference.

You have access to the class forever. What part of Alaska? I wrote a book about Native Alaskan women who knit lace with musk ox wool. It's called "Arctic Lace".

Yes, you can attend the classes whenever you want. There is no required schedule. You can also take as long as you need to finish.
