What are you most proud of? I think I had achieved what I was looking for.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just cut some extra blocks when you prepare for the quilt and keep it for the pillow. Make a paper pattern with the size and shape your like your finish pillow to have and follow the pattern. You need to reshape the center bottom three and the top center only retouch the bottom seam making 1/2" seams instead from the middle of the geometric figures down. After is right the size free motion quilt it as usual with the same wadding used on the quilt. It was not difficult to get it right. You can do it too. If any questions you welcome to ask me. I highly recommend this kind of pillow shape. There are very comfortable to have it around.

I think that it is worth to try. If you don't want to go with the trouble to make it, just try on one Ushape pillow. It work for me

I used a heart pattern they used for breast amputated women and checked out it is great for the neck. Would not make it too high.

For the first pillow case of this shape I made I followed the one I bought ready and just made the pillow case for it. This one you look at is a bigger size an fuller of the standard because I made it bigger. I don't know if is any commercial pattern for it. This one is from a piece of fabric 30"x30". (2) Need front and back. Form a triangle so the straight length goes over the side of the fabric (weft over warp) and the center is on the bias. Cut to form a sort of semicircle with 19" bias at the center to 15" at the sides. Reshape top and bottom to a smooth curve Cut a pair of this form and 1flap to slip pillow in. Join. If you find it too difficult to understand my poor directions I may consider to make a pattern and give to Craftsy for free so you can download the picture. But because is a big figure not easy to print it out and you still need to workout the pattern. See how you go. A made a few of them.....for babies, for reading in bed, for the TV room, etc. Very confy indeed.
