What was your inspiration?
I added a beaded bookmark to a book bag classic design so that you will never loose your place. The beads add weight and help it to hang down and look pretty when carried.
What are you most proud of?
Choosing the beads to match the fabric. When I take one out with me I am always getting asked where I got them from, they do make a wonderful gift for any book lover.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
To make the corners as square as possible before top-stitching them for a professional finish.
