What was your inspiration?

My stash is full of Hawaiian Barkcloth scraps used for work. I don't want to waste them since they're so beautiful, so I'm making quilts for my family.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Advice? Just do it. It's relaxing and fun. And you'll be rewarded with something nice in the end.

Your use of the large print fabric for the background is inspiring. Why do we always seen to use a neutral?!

Thank you. This is the first time I'm doing these kinds of quilt blocks. I've made a couple baby quilts, but nothing with so much going on... It's fun.
