What was your inspiration?
I love vintage and pinup styles, and I was eager to take my sewing to the next level and learn some couture techniques while creating something I would love to wear!
What are you most proud of?
I learned SO MUCH in this class; having only done a handful of basic sewing projects prior to this, I learned everything from making a buttonhole to numerous hand stitches and vintage techniques! I set myself a month deadline and despite the fact I devoted most of my free time and evenings to working on it, I met my goal! :)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid!! Set a plan for yourself and follow it, don't get overwhelmed. Give yourself lots of time and take it slowly - the end result is well worth it! :)
