What was your inspiration?
My friend Alyson was taking the same Craftsy course and she convinced me to join in and do a sew-along together. Hers is really pretty. Prettier than mine, even.
What are you most proud of?
I'm proud of all the hand-sewing I did. I only stabbed my fingers about a dozen times and drew blood only about three times, so... pretty good stats!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I detailed the entire project on my blog. It includes some tips like... even though it's the fashion fabric, leave large seam allowances!
