I added 4 inches to the length of the top, and ended up adding it at the bottom, as the top part already fit perfectly. This allowed me to make adjustments for my hips only in the additional area of fabric.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
My friend Sarah was taking this class, and seemed to be learning a lot, so I decided to take it too. I'm so glad I did. I learned tons of couture sewing techniques, and how to work with patterns without seam allowances.
What are you most proud of?
I'm impressed with all the hand stitching work I did. I'm usually not one for any sort of hand stitching, but I feel like it was well worth it for this project.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure you have made a few pieces of clothing before you get started, especially have made a muslin or two before.
