very nice! I saw this lay-out on Eleanor Burns Quilt in a Day show. She was doing the egg money quilts from the depression era. She was working with drunkard's path blocks. This layout is called Old Maid's Puzzle, but they used 2 colors that crossed in the middle. A funny thing she said was back then they didn't use the drunkard's path blocks to make kids quilts because it was feared the kid who slept under one of these quilts would grow up to be a drunkard! lol !
