I think these two look like candy. Yum! Cute, cute... I love them. And I like the more 'random' String Block best. You should be confident to just let go and think about it less when doing scrappy quilts. They are much fun! And yours turned out great.

Thank you. I didn't like making these blocks. I'm too particular to just put any fabric next to any other. I don't think I'll be doing these again unless I plan to make every square just the same as each other.

I used to think like that but I have a friend who learned how to do scrappy quilts first and loves them so I decided I had to learn how. I've been practicing scrappy for about 6 months now and have been able to put some very nice quilts together. Now I enjoy both and scrappy is so great for getting rid of all those scraps.
