It is sitting on a queen size bed and you can see how it hangs over so it's nice and big.

This was the kit Amy offered when we signed up. Totally different than I'm used to using, but it turned out nice.

This quilt was a lot of fun to put together. I haven't quilted mine yet. Have a baby quilt in the workings. Bought the backing though. The light blue fabric with chrysanthemums. Can't wait to finish this! What color is your binding - mines that Kona White. Terrific job!

I ended up cutting mine in half to make two lap quilts. HIS and HERS. I had a lot of fat quarters left from last years BOM - same fabric that Amy used - so I cut 2.5in strips and sewed together to make strips then pieced 22 together for the back of each quilt. I bought extra kona snow so it all matches. Still quilting the first one as I prefer hand quilting.

Forgot to share the color of the binding. It is kona snow. With all that is going on with the patterned fabric I wanted to keep it simple.

Now that's a terrific idea - two instead of one! Love it when you can use up fabric from your stash. Be sure and show us the two finished quilts.
