Thank you so much! I definitely would have come up short if I calculated this on my own. I will surely post my granny square block when done. By the way, I love your color choice for your BOM squares - its going to be a beautiful quilt!

Hi, I would like to make this granny square block and am kinda lazy...what size squares did you use so that the finished block came out to be 12.5 square? Thanks!

I used 3 1/4 inch squares that ended up at 2 3/4 finished. The white squares around the edges are slightly bigger.
