What was your inspiration?
Craftsy Block of the Month with Amy Gibson
What are you most proud of?
Don't care for Curves, but I stuck with it. Changed up the Blocks only because, I couldn't imagine cutting and sewing 32 more pieces; so I did a Drunkard's Path (8cuts) instead of Rippling Water. When I layed out the Cleopatra block, I didn't care for the color scheme, so the Fool's Puzzle worked better. Sticking with it, even when you don't enjoy something. Not that I don't keep trying to challenge myself. This will be the third quilt with curves in it.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
As an experienced quilter the small blocks are okay. For a beginner, maybe try a larger size (Drunkard's Path) first to experiment and get comfortable with sewing the curves without any bunching. Then the smaller squares will be easier for you.
