I'd have to check but I think I did a 2 and 1/2 and a 4 inch. I never know what I am going to do ..... my projects just seem to have a mind of their own.
Absolutely beautiful! I have fallen behind on my blocks since I had knee surgery at the beginning of September. I have just recently started to sew on my sewing machines again. So, I am hoping to catch up really soon! You have a beautiful quilt! Keep up the great work.
Hope your recovery is going well and thank you for the compliments! Every one of us has done such a different job on the same quilt blocks that it's amazing! There are quite a few that I have really fallen in love with!
OH WOW.......love this quilt! I'm a sucker for blues and this one is especially lovely. Might have to make another in a monocramatic color scheme, love your sashing & borders as well. Very nicely done.
Love your lighter coloured sashing... it has set the blocks apart but still brought them together... very clever. Well done on your borders too... perfect! Just beautiful!
I love what you did with this quilt. I am going to use your border idea on the quilt I made my grandson. I wanted to make it bigger for him to use on his bunk bed. I really like the way the double wide border looks. great job.
No, I didn't because that would have lumped heavy blocks all together making the quilt off centered. I just followed Amy's advice to position them in a pleasing manner to the eye. I played with them for a while until I decided where to put them.
Thanks. It's 'my therapy'!!! Going to start on my brown quilt now and I have a chain saw quilt to cut out AND I want to try a 'Stack and Whack' quilt that looks like a kaleidoscope ! Not enough hours in the day!
Wow, I love it! But I'm sorry to say not as good as mine. They say two great minds think alike. You see my blocks are a mixed of blues, whites and cream too. Julieannabell.
