What was your inspiration?

I was going for a Japanese/Asian theme for my brother. He studies karate in Japan and really enjoys the culture.

What are you most proud of?

That I finished my first quilt all by myself!! (and on time)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't over think it. Just go with what feels right at the moment and enjoy the process.

Seeing your finsihed quilt has inspired me to use a dark fabric for the sashing on my second quilt.
