Love your colors. Bright and cheerful yet the colors are restful. nice combination.

I had planned to use black to frame each square but when I laid the squares on black they screamed at each other. Was happy when I found this blue which seemed to work well.

I hoped that if I chose bright colours it would cover the many mistakes that I was sure to make on my first quilt.

That was somewhat accidental, it's left over material or bits I picked up in op shops through the year. Glad you liked it.

That block was me experimenting with scraps left over from other blocks, but I liked it much more than my 'wonky cross' block so I used it in the quilt.
