cut 4 (8 1/2 x96 1/2 ) strips for borders, 39 (3 1/2 x 12 1/2) strips for sashing, 18 (3 1/2) sashing squares with 20 BOM squares.

Great quilt. The sashing makes the blocks pop. Cannot wait until I have all my blocks completed. I have two more to do. Then the hard part of picking a sashing that will enhance the blocks.

Nicely done. Makes me want to do a sample quilt. I guess you have to pic the color sceme at the start and continue.

What's really nice about the sampler quilt is all of my squares is from leftover material from a previous quilt. I tried staying with the same pieces of material in each square. I didn't know what I was going to do with each square and did make a few pillows but I needed to make a quilt for my grandson, so started saving the squares and finally had enough to make this full size bed quilt. I did have to buy the sashing and backing material but found a great deal on the backing at $1.50 per yard.

Great quilt. I'm just getting started and your quilt is giving me the desire to keep going with it. I like the sashing and cornerstones and will probably do that too, I can use another bed quilt.

thank you, I really loved how this one turned out and it fits the full size bed pretty good. If I had to do it over I would make the plaid trim an inch or two longer.

Thanks everyone, it was so much doing this project. I enjoyed having different patterns in each block, that kept it from being tiring. I'm anxious to see some of your quilts put together.
