You're a devil for punishment, making TWO sets of blocks! It will be very interesting to see how different the two quilts turn out to be (if you're not making them exactly the same) - I'll look forward to seeing both finished!

Oops I just read your comment. The 6 inch strips look great and will give you a nice big quilt. I figured that mine will end up about 70 by 94 with the 2 1/2" sashing strips (2" finished") and 5" finished borders.

Love it, your red sashing looks great as do your blocks. You are like me and decided to go with a wider sashing, I think yours may be wider than mine, I used 2 1'/2 inch strips.

Thanks gmarie830, I used 6 inch strips and it is 75 X 96. I made two sets of blocks so I will have another one soon.

Very nice! I love the red. How wide is your sashing? What is your finished size? I'd love to finish mine larger than a throw, too.
