Beautiful crisp block! Look here, stop selling yourself short... you picked the fabric and you've chosen how to use it just beautifully! Would love to see a pic of the uncut fabric if there's any left tho... how come I never see these LOL? Awesome to have another Kiwi aboard even if you're not a Mainlander hehe ;-) Isn't Craftsy just great!?!?
Hey now Pammy, spent some formative years in the Mainland! Picked up the fabric from Spotlight, may have a bit left, quilting taking a back seat to moving house for the next couple of weeks (can't wait til that's over - want to sew!!!)

Knew there was something special about you LOL! Good ol Spotlight... am a frequent flyer there tehe! OMG moving house... oh well at least it will be over before Xmas, phew! All the best, am watching you, will be waiting for the next step in your gorgeous quilt ;-)
So many people are making such nice comments about my fabric choices! I have a confession... this is the first time I have attempted a sampler quilt and choosing the fabrics was the most daunting part of the project. I happened upon a fabric that had the 8 co-ordinating prints in 4 1/2" strips lengthways down the bolt! So apart from the large pink roses in this block (which I DID choose, and the floral you'll see in my asterisk block) all the "co-ordinating" was done for me, so I take no credit! THANKS ANYWAY, I am looking forward to seeing it completed.
