Hi -- I really like all your blocks! Are you just joining in now? Black/White is a favorite and I especially like it with the happy sunny green you've got! Looking forward to seeing more from you!

Thanks! I stumbled across the BOM about a month ago and thought it would be something fun for my daughters and I to do together. They're 15 & 13, and we are having a blast with it!

Love all your work. The wonky is wonderful, as I think that is a really tough one to pull off. Great job.

Thanks! I'm not a "math person" so I didn't realize that the larger the strips were the less nicely they would line up. I'm finding my perfectionist personality doesn't serve me well with quilting, especially being new at it. I want everything to match and be all lined up! :-) But I'm having a blast with it anyway and since practice makes perfect, it just means I'll have to buy more fabric! :-)

I have the same OCD/pain in the neck habit - keep on ripping because it is not straight.........Being a bookkeeper by trade, it's always black and white, straight and balanced for me. Letting go was really hard. I still dislike my wonky, mostly because it is not wonky enough. But, I have been totally inspired by the wonderful work posted. Hope to spendmore time quilting, and less time perfecting. Please post more.....
