What are you most proud of? The centre piece in the first May block (the bird) is from a scrap of fabric left over from a duvet cover we made for my husband's parents so it's kind of cute to have it in my quilt. The centre piece I chose for the second May block (the red poinsettia) was from a scrap of material and it already had a fifth side. Having made this block, next time I would try to have fewer right angles (if indeed any) on the centre piece, it would make the block even more wonky.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? As always have fun! These blocks come together really quickly and easily so enjoy the process.
