What materials did you use? Quilting fabrics from my stash.

What are you most proud of? Framing the pretty flower fabric with dark fabric, taking the original Greek Cross pattern into a different direction. There would not have been sufficient contrast otherwise. As a bonus, it allows me to stretch the flower fabric for which I am running low, only half way into the BOM program.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Do not hesitate to customize any block in a way that better suits the fabric combination or simply your taste!

I love the way you framed that center print. It gives the block a great new look.

Thank you. I needed to introduce the contrast. Otherwise, the block would have looked "washed-out".
