What was your inspiration?
Always wanted to do patchwork and quilting and noticed this course mentioned on a forum. It's exactly what I was after and being a monthly thing there is no pressure on trying to get it done.
What are you most proud of?
This is the first blocks made on my new sewing machine. This new machine scares me to death - didn't start off too well with it keep clogging up with thread. Finally mastered it and so pleased I've completed the first of many - I hope!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
You really need to use just under a 1/4 inch seem. My first block isn't quite big enough as I used a qtr seem, but hope it will be ok when I sew it all together. (if not I will be making another nearer the time :o) )
