Poseidon Kona Cotton Solids Fat Quarter Bundle and various oranges and pinks from my stash.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Have fun! Since you cut these blocks down to 12.5 inches you certainly have some room for errors.

Both of these blocks are really fun to make. I also think this BOM class will increase my skills so I think it is certainly worth a try.
