I like how it looks like you have an object in an open box for shipping. I might try this one with brown corduroy for the box flaps. Thanks for the inspiration!

VERY nice Alyx - Your cross just seems to float above the background and I love your little hexi! I find it so interesting to see how some BOMers are now using a technique or element from earlier blocks in their new ones. Well done!

Thanks! This turned out just as I envisioned it. Hey -- do you like the bamboo background? I'm still trying to put together a bigger, more usable, design board, but I thought the bamboo might be fun to photograph off of. What do you think?

I love it! Its the perfect color to enhance your work without taking any of the color away from it. Great choice.

Hi Darns -- Thanks so much for your comment/s. I've responded before -- but my stuff keeps "not taking" -- I don't know why.

Wonderful, I am always amazed at what you come up with in your blocks. Your colors & fabrics that you have chosen are wonderful also. Great job. Your blocks will make a very beautiful quilt. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks much for your nice comment/s. Really appreciated. Some times it feels like I'm bumbling along -- this block took a lot longer than some of my others and, yet, it looks so simple.
