I'd say solid black or perhaps black with a very small polka dot sashing would be the way to go.....

Looks like you are making a king size top also, I also make extra blocks to have a king size...any plans for quilting your top yet. I really like your color choices, very nice job on your blocks. I think Amy will show us sashings in Novemeber. Judy in Phx, AZ

No i have not thought about quilting this yet, I've never free motion quilted anything before but have been on a day course and I know that there is going to be a Craftsy course comming soon, so I'm excited to have a go!

I like the idea of using just 3 colors. I do agree with klh about the darker sashing.

maybe a much darker grey for the sashing? looks like a case where auditioning different colors might be the way to go.
