What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Piece together the half-square triangles together carefully for both blocks or they will not square up.

Ooo, I love the colors and fabrics you've chosen for these blocks. I'm a sucker for the "country" flavor of the red and green ones especially.

Thank you. It is kind of scary since I'm using oddball fabrics from my stash versus a coordinated fat quarter set. What I like about this workshop is that the blocks can be redone if the colors don't quite work out..
