What are you most proud of? Another block that I am NOT proud of ...again, insufficient contrast for the block design to shine. Again, maybe tomorrow, I will remake it, not today...today I am crabby...LOL. Perfectly executed, but insufficient contrast for a crisp look

What advice would you give someone starting this project? this block looks best with crisp contrast...just my opinion.

Beautiful and I think i like the minimal contrast better in this block though I see what you are saying. Your fabric choices kind of melt together and produce a pleasing, kaleidoscope feeling. Will be a gorgeous quilt!

I think when quilted, if done a certain way, both of these blocks could really stand out. There's something fascinating about both of your Sept. blocks.

Just gorgeous, really LOVE this block

Those blues are beautiful. Maybe the high contrast is a factor for your sensibilities, but our eyes may need a place to rest a bit with all these gorgeous blocks. I thiink you will be happy with all of them after you rearrange to your satisfaction. I cannot imagine what solid would not work, but the lime green sounds interesting (or hot pink- fuscia- turquoise?) I love 'em all.

I think you are right with the eye resting bit...Anxious to go shopping in a couple weeks after pay day!

I would love to be on that shopping trip! The staff at the shop will be drooling all over your quilt. You better allow most of a day for auditioning, decision making and raking in the compliments. Have FUN
