I just sucked in air when I saw this! These blocks are beautiful! fabulous! and breath-taking (hence the sucking in of air!!) I love your sashing, but see if you like these blocks on point? On some it won't matter, but your double-star would look great on point I think... make a striking quilt even more striking!

I like it. I'm trying to decide on my sashing color and width. My blocks are black and white so I will probably go with black. I am like you, I'm waiting to find out how much I will need. The 2" size that mpac5000 is going to use sounds about right to me.

yeah, me too. 2" sounds like a reasonable width.

What size did you decide on. I am going with the 2" finished width fro my Christmas quilt.

I haven't got a clue. This is my first quilt. Guess I'll see what Amy recommends and how much fabric I'll have, and go from there.
