I see you are quilting each BOM as you work through the 2012 BOM. I just ordered fabric for the 2012 BOM and was thinking about doing just that. Will it be a problem to connect the sashing to each BOM after quilting? Will it be okay to then connect all the sashed and quilted blocks batting and backing?

I am following the "quilt as you go" instructions from Leah Day's Craftsy class on quilting the BOM sampler, which makes it pretty easy. I haven't actually started attaching any blocks to each other yet, though! =)
