What materials did you use? Amy Butler fabrics, Robert Kaufman "grandeur spice" fabrics, 1 random fabric stash fabric.

These fabrics work nicely, easy on the eye.

Are you having trouble following along using your own fabrics? I have a stash that could work for this class, just didn't know if I could follow along easily...

Very nice! Lovely, modern look. Very easy on the eyes.

I like these colors - makes me want a cup of mocha coffee :)

bw38812: I had to take some time and lay out all my stash into color families. Then I went through the list and found colors that were similar in tone to the ones used by the instructors. I do have a color wheel at home and I looked at where their colors fell on the wheel and I just stuck to the same number of spaces. (for example, they are using reds and blues which is 2/3 of the wheel next to each other, I just traveled the other direction on the wheel the same number of colors.) Then I narrowed my choices depending on how much yardage I had, and I added a few neutral colors (mostly browns) to ease my eye a bit. It was just too busy and loud for me. The neutrals are a lazy choice of color, but they didn't make my head hurt. I hope that helped.
