I would love to know how to put pics of my blocks in the grid like this... what do you use for this?

Inserting the pictures onto the grid is pretty easy if you have an application like Photoshop. I simply took 'direct on' pictures with my digital camera and loaded them on my computer. Then I cropped all the background stuff so that only the block remained. The Grid they provided was in a PDF file, so I opened that page in Photoshop, saved it to my PC. Then using Layers, added each block to the appropriate area. To make it fit the grid, I just grabbed the corner squares and re-sized the blocks until they fit. Using the transition tool, I rotated some of the blocks to see which way I wanted them to be. After placing all of the quilt blocks on the grid, I saved the PSD file, and then saved a JPG of the entire image to upload to the board.
