What advice would you give someone starting this project? Practice making the Drunkard's Path blocks. (Maybe with scraps?) As you get a few in, they get MUCH easier. I had to redo the first 5 I made.

I have wanted to do this for years. This is one of the most versatile and fun patterns I have ever done. My question is this:do you make a graph to keep up with the colors? I have thought about doing a big patch quilt for a King-size bed. Thanks, Janet

jtsadleris@yahoo.com I only made two of these blocks, the one you commented on and a red and black one in a different layout. However, if I was doing a full quilt of them, I would sketch out some type of instructions to know where to go. I do restate my advice. PRACTICE first before you use your good fabric. After a handful it starts to work right.
