Scraps and strips cut from fat quarters
What was your inspiration?
The fabrics, and Amy urging us to have fun with this. I think I liked "saturated" in regard to her choosing prints... and 'scrappier the better" and I was off to have a wonkin' good time :D

What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you really don't think you can "wonk" ... WONK anyway!!! It's ONE block! If you don't like it, you are only out time and scraps! You may just find you love it.
My daughter liked it so much she wants me to do a really big wonky log cabin that she can frame and put on her wall. (and it wasn't even finished yet when she saw it.
