What was your inspiration?

The browns are just fabrics I loved. The Christmas ones are for a new project idea I have had since starting this course. For next year I want to make a Christmas quilt for each bed in the house. This is my first go at quilting and am so excited about this course.

What are you most proud of?

Just how well they are turning out.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Watch the ironing technique and ruler holding technique in BOM 2013 episode one.
Those are a big help if you've never done these before.

I'm excited for you too... these are the blocks that were my first attempt at quilting too! Hard to believe that was a year ago and oh boy was it just the start of a new addiction in so many ways LOL!!! Totally hooked now like you wouldn't believe! Love your Xmas theme but your birdies have stolen my heart... can't wait to see more! Go you!

I like that too. It wasn't planned... I just slashed with the though of trying to miss as many birds as I could so the print would remain whole... and it just turned out that way. I was happy with that once it was done and seen that too.
