Instructions

I made templates from the paper graphics, marked and cut accurately for both blocks. Block #13 went together fine. Block #14 waffled (I believe the printed paper graphic is off a bit). I corrected the waffle by resewing all the seams halfway. I started from the inside circle and took in each seam by 1-2 threads then eased back into the original sewing line at the halfway point. These are great! Love the black & white blocks you have done. The modern Dresden is wonderful - spent some time fussy cutting, didn't you?

I am not sure how you did the spinning coil inside the pie pieces but I just love it. Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing.

You know - it was really the luck of random cutting ... and I leveraged off it once I spotted it. (-: The Marcus Brothers fabric I used had a repeat pattern of 3 black masks then 3 white masks and I cut it all the blades in the same direction. I am keep an eye open for other fabric that might work ... then actually fuzzy cut it.
