Some Fabrics from my stash to start, then it was so much fun I found some to add in! I decided to go with my school colors -- Go Oklahoma State Cowboys! I already had a few, and I decided to go with the polka dot theme. The March blocks have given me an extra challnge on the polka dots - so there will be some stripes and other things added in!
What was your inspiration?
I have done sewing most of my 57 years - but never a pieced quilt. My sister in law started doing quilts, and I was inspired. Found the Craftsy BOM just in time to start the new year with a challenge! After looking at all the colors and options on all the BOM pictures posted -- I just want to do more and more!!
What are you most proud of?
I can see that my seams are getting better and the points are more precise with every seam.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Patience and a good seam ripper!!
