What was your inspiration?
Always wanted to do patchwork and quilting and noticed this course mentioned on a forum. It's exactly what I was after and being a monthly thing there is no pressure on trying to get it done
What are you most proud of?
I have finished my first quilt !! :)
I managed to follow the whole course and complete every single step. I am a confident sewer but complete beginner to patchwork and quilting.
I have quilted this using 'stitch in the ditch' and a little 'echo' quilting only, as it was my first quilt. I still think it's worked out ok.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The course is fab and the instructor is brilliant. Just have a go yourself, you can't go too far wrong with the instructions if you just take your time. Measure twice cut once. Always listen out for guidance on sizes as this is the main reason for having a block go a little too small.
