What was your inspiration?
A client wanted a pumpkin depicting her 3 dogs, so being true to their natures, they're waiting to see what the witch has cooked up for them.
What are you most proud of?
I was very happy that the cut paper dogs so closely depicted the client's own pets.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I asked the client for photos of her pets and then used photocopies of the pictures as a stencil to design the paper cuts of the individual dogs. The details are the most important part of these cut paper pumpkins as people tend to look very closely at the inserts.
